7-Week Online Support Group for Sex Workers

For current and former sex workers (ages 18+, Minnesota residents)

This 7-week virtual support group offers a therapeutic, affirming space for current and former sex workers. Rooted in sex-positive, feminist, trauma-informed care, the group is inclusive of all gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, relationship styles, races and ethnicities, immigration statuses, abilities, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Together, we’ll explore the unique challenges and experiences within the sex work community. Topics may include:

  • Navigating the ebbs and flows of the work

  • Cultivating self-care practices that center pleasure

  • Setting and maintaining boundaries that honor your needs

  • Reflecting on stigma and cultural narratives around sex work

  • Building connection and community

This is a kink-friendly and nonjudgmental space where your story is respected and your well-being is centered.

Group Requirements and Meeting Details: 

  • Group Size: Minimum of 4, maximum of 8

  • Meeting Dates/Times: The group will meet online weekly on Mondays from 4:00pm-5:30pm on the following 2025 dates: 7/14, 7/21, 7/28, 8/4,  8/11, 8/18, 8/25.

Generation Doom

Virtual Therapeutic Support Groups for Queer Individuals and Relationships

These virtual groups offer therapeutic support for queer individuals, couples, and partnered relational systems navigating internal stress in response to the current state of the world and how we’re coping with it.

Participants will collaboratively determine the focus areas for discussion. Topics may include—though are not limited to—the climate crisis, life under late-stage capitalism, uncertainty about the future, and more.

Groups will launch once the minimum number of participants is reached, run for 3 months, and may be renewed for additional cycles.

Group Requirements and Meeting Details: 

  • Individual Group:
    This group will meet on Sunday afternoons or evenings, depending on participant interest. Capacity is limited to 8 individuals.

  • Relational Group:
    Meets Sundays from 2:30–4:00 PM. Open to 5 couples or relational systems, including vee structures and polycules.

Chronic Illness & Pain In Relationships

Online Support Group for Relational Systems Navigating Disability and Chronic Illness

This online group offers therapeutic support for couples and partnered relational systems (including vee structures and polycules) in which at least one partner lives with a disability and/or experiences chronic illness or pain.

Together, we will co-create the focus of our sessions, exploring topics relevant to your lived experiences and processing the complexities of sustaining relationships while navigating health challenges.

Grounded in the principles of Disability Justice, this group centers interdependence, sustainability, and the inherent wholeness and worth of every participant.

Group Requirements and Meeting Details: 

  • Group Details: This virtual group is limited to eight couples/romantic relational systems. 

  • Meeting Dates/Times: The group will meet online Sundays starting March 2nd for eight sessions from 2:00pm-3:30pm CST.

Navigating Chronic Illness and Disability

Online Support Group for Individuals Living with Disability, Chronic Illness, or Pain

This virtual group draws on the power of community and connection to offer therapeutic support for individuals living with disability, chronic illness, or pain.

Guided by the principles of Disability Justice, our work together will center interdependence, sustainability, and the deep truth that we are always whole and worthy.

Possible topics include:

  • Principles of Disability Justice

  • Societal narratives about chronic illness and disability

  • Experiences of ableism

  • Grief and ambiguous loss

  • Navigating daily life and systemic barriers

  • Intimacy, sex, and relationships

  • Asking for and receiving care

  • Internalized ableism and self-narratives

Group Requirements and Meeting Details: 

  • Group Details: Space is limited to 8 individuals. We will start our next cycle once we have at least 5 people registered.

  • Meeting Dates/Times: The group meets virtually weekly on Thursday afternoons from 2:00 to 3:30pm for a total of 8 sessions.

  • Group facilitators: Nikki Real, MA and Skye Butler, MA, LAMFT

  • Supervised by: Jessie Leader, LMFT & Hannah Rogak, MS, LMFT

Trans &/or Non-Binary Support Group

This group is open to trans and non-binary people living in Minnesota. It offers an affirming, trauma-informed space that embraces the full spectrum of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, relationship style, kink-positivity, race and ethnicity, immigration status, (dis)ability, neurodiversity, socioeconomic background, generational experience, and more.

The group will focus on shared support, psychoeducation, and space to process personal and collective experiences.
