Edges Wellness Center is an emerging collective of dedicated practitioners providing compassionate, inclusive, and trauma-informed therapy. We specialize in individual, relational, couple, and family therapy, gender specialist services, and sex therapy. Our approach integrates somatic and holistic modalities. Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and fully-licensed therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. You will provide therapy services in alignment with our shared mission and values. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive environment while maintaining autonomy in your practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual, couple, relational, and/or family therapy, as well as group therapy as needed.
Serve diverse populations, including those marginalized by traditional healthcare systems, with a focus on serving underrepresented communities, including LGBTQ+, BIPOC, immigrant, Indigenous, and people with disabilities.
Work from trauma-informed, somatic, and holistic frameworks in alignment with Edges Wellness Center’s integrative approach.
Maintain a minimum caseload of 10 clients per week.
Participate in professional consultations and peer support groups.
Optional involvement in supervision, training, and community education.
Qualifications:
Full licensure in the state of Minnesota (e.g., LMFT, LICSW, LPCC, or LP).
A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in therapeutic practice.
Experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, nontraditional relational models, and/or trauma survivors preferred.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated experience or specialization in somatic and holistic therapeutic approaches (e.g., EMDR, Somatic ExperiencingⓇ) is a plus.

Free office space (4 days/week) or a 5% increase in the clinic split for telehealth-only work.

Peer consultation groups and professional development support.
15-19 weekly client hours:
Free office space (3.5 days/week) or similar telehealth benefits.
Free attendance to two-thirds of Edges-run trainings.
10-14 weekly client hours:
Free office space (2.5 days/week).
Free attendance to one-third of Edges-run trainings.
Additional opportunities include becoming a clinical supervisor with compensation for supervision hours and access to supervision training.

3 hours of supervision per month (max of 33 per year) and group supervision up to 20 hours per year.
10-14 weekly client hours:
Free office space (2.5 days/week).
Free attendance to one-third of Edges-run trainings.
2 hours of supervision per month (max of 22 per year) and group supervision up to 20 hours per year.
Additional opportunities as a fully-licensed provider include becoming a clinical supervisor with compensation for supervision hours and access to supervision training.
